Trump Mulls An Executive Order To Keep US Companies Away From Huawei, ZTE

Trump Mulls An Executive Order To Keep US Companies Away From Huawei, ZTETrusted sources reveal that President Trump is about to declare a situation of national emergency in the US. It would ban companies in US from using any telecommunication device by Huawei and ZTE of China. The administration under Trump has adopted this new method to shun down China’s two biggest network companies from use in US market. The allegations put against these companies are that – they work on behalf of the Chinese government and possibly can be used by China to spy on US citizens.

This executive order has been kept under revision and reconsideration for eight months now. However, the order would be commenced in early January, next year. Trump government has held Huawei and ZTE to be reasons of threat to national security. The order will also initiate International Emergency Economic Powers Act which provides full authorization to the president to control commerce in order to answer a certain nation emergency in US. This has brought a situation of immediacy for wireless carriers in US. Now, they will have to look for a different partner to install 5G into the system.

Huawei and ZTE have not reacted to the decision yet. In the past as well, they have refused their products to be Chinese spies in US. No reaction has come from White House as well. The report first came out in Wall Street Journal back in May. But, the order was under consideration then and never got public.

The ones suffering badly would be the rural operators of US. They are the biggest customers of both Huawei and ZTE. The Chinese devices would be banned without any compensation to these operators. The leading wireless companies had although ceased using tools by Huawei and ZTE, but the rural carriers were highly depended on them because of their cheap price.
