About The News Arcade

For much of the past decade, I worked as a reporter for a newspaper that took too long to recognize that in-depth journalism only succeeds by selling stories, not advertisements. Fortunately, many publications are shifting to subscriber models today. But that presents a new problem. Most readers visit dozens of news websites or newsletters in a month, but few can afford subscriptions to each. The News Arcade is designed to give readers a way to support journalism by purchasing a single article for 15 or 25 cents. The stories typically will cover the space where business and government meet. They will challenge people in power and give readers new information that matters to communities. While based in Delaware, The News Arcade covers stories across the region and country. Please email with any questions at XXX@XXX.com or you can click on the blue chat icon. I’ll respond as soon as I can.
